Isaiah 32, 33 - Transformation of the World into Christ’s Kingdom
Isaiah 32
 1 See, a king will reign in righteousness
      and rulers will rule with justice. 16 Justice will dwell in the desert
      and righteousness live in the fertile field. 17 The fruit of righteousness will be peace;
      the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.Isaiah 33
 5 The LORD is exalted, for he dwells on high;
      he will fill Zion with justice and righteousness.
Isaiah warns that where people have plenty, they will have nothing. Once they have nothing, Jesus will return and the land will be restored.Â
He warns that where evil is not repaid, it will be when they stop… when they die I suspect.
The land of Israel will cease to be a land of strife, but will be filled with justice and righteousness… as will any other land that for which Israel is a metaphor. Heaven for certain. The United States potentially, but not necessarily.
I find it interesting that Jesus will be transforming an exhausted world (eventual results of Global Warming?) into a lush garden for His kingdom, and not simply ruling it as it is. I find it interesting that He will have rulers underneath Him, and that there will be absolute peace… a utopia like many of my liberal friends want to see, but look to Obama for instead of to Jesus. Well if that is the comparison, then Obama will fail, and eventually Jesus will return.
