The name of Uz is mention in 8 verses in scripture. The following 5 verses refer to either Aram’s son, the land of Uz, or the kingdom of Uz…

1. Genesis 10:23 - The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether and Meshek.  
2. 1 Chronicles 1:17 - The Semites The sons of Shem: Elam, Ashur, Arphaxad, Lud and Aram. The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether and Meshek. 
3. Job 1:1 - [ Prologue ] In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. 
4. Jeremiah 25:20 - and all the foreign people there; all the kings of Uz; all the kings of the Philistines (those of Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the people left at Ashdod); 
5. Lamentations 4:21 - Rejoice and be glad, Daughter Edom, you who live in the land of Uz. But to you also the cup will be passed; you will be drunk and stripped naked

The following verses refer to other people named Uz…

1. Genesis 22:21 - Uz the firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel (the father of Aram), 
2. Genesis 36:28 - The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran. 
3. 1 Chronicles 1:42 - The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan and Akan. The sons of Dishan : Uz and Aran.

A “Church of God” website says the following about where Uz may have been located, based on the book of Job…

The precise location of the land of Uz is uncertain, although The Bible record does provide some clues:

 

• The land may have originally been named after Uz, who was the son of Aram, and grandson of Shem (Genesis 10:23, 1 Chronicles 1:17). 
• One of Job’s friends, Eliphaz, came from Teman (Job 4:1), which is in Idumea. 
• Uz was subject to attacks from Sabeans and Chaldeans (Job 1:15,17). 
• It had to have fertile pastures, since Job had many thousands of animals. 
• It had at least one major city, since Job sat at the city gate.

The two most likely locations for the land of Uz is in Arabia, east of Petra (today, northwestern Saudi Arabia), or more likely, in Bashan, east of The Sea Of Galilee and south of Damascus (today, western Jordan or southern Syria).

I have placed a marker for Uz at approximately the location described for Bashan…
