GeoCreationism is my attempt to unite mainstream science with a literal rendering of the scriptures. They are telling the same story, though most people either do not think so, or they compromise one to accept to explain the other. GeoCreationism is an attempt to not compromise either; opinions will vary on my success.

This quest began when someone challenged me with 2 Peter 3:5, and I had no answer. So, I went back to Genesis 1 and asked myself the following question: was there a time in the earth's past, according to mainstream science, when the earth was dark and covered in water? The answer was yes.

My next question was if some time after that, according to mainstream science, was there an event that could be seen as the separation of waters above from waters below? Again, the answer was yes.

My next question was whether scripture's definition for "day" was really 24-hours. It turns out the answer was no. My interpretation of Genesis 1 had changed forever.
