Well, not exactly “in history”.
I have completed two articles on Cain, discussing his move to “East of Eden”. One is a scientific article discussing the likelihood of his descendants working with iron. One needs to ask whether our dating of Noah, and by extension Adam, would place Cain’s desdendants in a time and place that makes sense. So, if the flood is 2807 BC, and Adam was born in 4336 BC, then how could Tubal-Cain have worked with iron, when the Iron Age began in 1200BC? You can read about it here:
http://www.geocreationism.com/science/meteoric_iron_preceded_iron_age.html
The other article is commentary on the scripture itself, discussing the historical ramifications of the names and vocations of Cain’s descendants. Not only did Tubal-Cain work with iron, but Jabal lived in tents and …

I have some new articles on the website:
Genesis 4:3-17 - Cain kills Abel, returns to Eden.
And to complement it, I looked at the archaeological sites that may reveal how Cain’s return fits into things. It also reveals some insight on where Adam may have been born: 4500BC to 4000BC - Where is Eden, Nod, and Enoch? Between Lake Van and Lake Urmia
Enjoy!

I recently read a book on Einstein. A fascinating character in history. He discovered Quantum Mechanics, but did not believe it. That is, he believed the equations for it merely described its behavior, but not its underlying reality. According to quantum theory there are things in the universe that do not behave deterministically. For example, an electron will change its orbit spontaneously and without any apparent transition. The fact that there is no transition is consistent with the electron’s wavelength, but the actual change itself appears to have pattern as to when it will happen. Furthermore, the change appears to be instantaneous, when even light is not instantaneous. Consequently, the only model scientists have come up with to describe the …

Young Earth Creationists are my brothers and sisters in Christ. I look forward to spending eternity with them in Heaven. I have no doubt of their love and devotion to God. I just with they were more scientific. Here is what I am referring to. I found this great article on Cain and his descendents. Overall, I found it very educational, and it has helped me with my interpretation of Genesis 4. But, as the author is writing, when he gets to Tubal-Cain, he goes and says this:
One thing is clear, however. The anthropologists and evolutionists are wrong again. Men were born with the abilities to make bronze and to work with metal. They did not acquire …

I just completed several article for the history section of GeoCreationism.com. They generally build on each other. What has been the most fascinating aspect of this study is how the dates fall out of the study. For example, using someone else’s meticulously researched date for the Flood (2807 BC) and someone else’s for the Exodus (1449BC), I mere took the conversion factor of 1.083 to the Biblical durations, laid out the periods before the Exodus end-to-end, and it all fell into place.
Note that the 1.083 is the conversion between 364-day solar years and 336-day lunar years. The theory (borrowed from Bendedek’s King’s Calendar research) is that at some point, the 365-day nature of the biblical was lost… thought to communicate …

I am currently writing about my dating for Adam’s birth, or at least his re-birth in Christ in Genesis 2:7. In the process, I decided to compare my dates to the Hebrew Calendar. I already knew they would be different, but this was really suprising. First, here the dates I computed from Adam through the Flood. These are computed by taking the durations in scripture, and converting them from lunar to solar years, using the same conversion ratio of 1.083 that I borrowed from the King’s Calendar to compute the events from the flood the Exodus. Recall that the Flood was computed to be in 2807 BC. Here are the dates I arrived at:…

I have been working on a group of articles for http://geocreationism.com that attempts to organize the research documented on this blog for when the flood occurred. I have been attempting to verify my facts against additional sources, and when I got to the computation for the date written in Genesis 7:11, I found that the website I was using was incorrect. The date should be April 21, not May 2. This affects at least the following posts on this blog:
Honing in on the Date of the Flood — May 2, 2807 BC…

Reconciliation is an act of restoration. It assumes a separation between parties that needs due to differences that must be resolved. It can refer to a balance sheet with entries that have not been double-checked for accuracy, and the act of ensuring that when you add the credits to the debits, they add up to zero. In scripture, reconciliation is somewhere between the two.
Hosea 3:1
[ Hosea’s Reconciliation With His Wife ] The LORD said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress. Love her as the LORD loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.”

One of the difficult aspects of Christianity is the sheer number of ideas upon which one can build their faith… or wreck it. Some build their faith on their confidence that people don’t choose God; God chooses them. This can also bring doubts, wondering whether God really chose them, so does their choosing God really matter? On the other hand, if they choose God, they’ll find that God actually chose them first, and then they build their faith on that. Foundation: God chose them.
Some people build their faith on the idea that they cannot earn their way to Heaven. Good thing, because of the past wrongs they’ve done in their life. But, they believe in Christ’s sacrifice for them and …

I have just finished writing several articles for http://GeoCreationism.com discussing death and Original Sin. For reference, here are the articles:
Our Death in Adam
Genesis 3:6-7
1 Corinthians 15:21-22
Romans 5:12
The common message is that death entered the world through the sin of Adam. However, there appears to be more than one meaning for the word death. This is commonly overlooked in discussions on original sin, regardless of one’s perspective. For example, when it comes to Original Sin, many YECs (Young Earth Creationists) always interpret “death” as physical, while many OECs (Old Earth Creationists) always interpret “death” as spiritual. Either extreme leaves any interpretation of scripture wanting.
There are three kinds of death in scripture, when it comes to sin. They …
